From The Universe Behind the Zodiac: Astrology of the Whole Sky. The book prints its figures in black and white. Here are the thirteen figures of the road drawn from their actual stars, and a photograph of every deep sky object in Section Three.
The thirteen figures of the road, from the actual stars
Every star brighter than magnitude five, at its true position, with the region boundaries cut through it. The horizontal axis is sidereal longitude (Fagan/Bradley) and the vertical is ecliptic latitude; the dashed line is the road, the Sun's own path. The lines that join stars into a shape are a drawing convention, not a measurement, so they are not drawn. The Archer is the one printed in the book, as Figure 4; the other twelve are drawn the same way.
